Niche Marketing Beginner Phase

By Rich Teen On June 28, 2009 25 Comments

Thanks for revisiting and subscribing.

Everyone wants to make big bucks online but the first action we must take is to find a good and profitable niche. You need to know who you are going to sell to and find out what they are demanding. After that, we just need to supply what they need and money comes your way.

Why Is Market So Important?

Here’s why. If you are having a shop that’s selling fried sausages in a neighbourhood of vegetarians, don’t expect to profit or even make a sale! These die hard vegetarians that have carrot juice pumping in their blogg won’t buy your sausages even they’re hunger to death.

As a conclusion, instead of focusing on your drean product, brainstorm and find a profitable market. Once you unlock the profitable market, money will even grow on your garden’s trees.

Digging The Profitable And Hungry Market

You must find a group of people that is hungry for your product and making triple sales is relatively easy and no work is needed. This market will buy your products even if your site is not perfect, you sales letter sucks and you are having low quality graphics or even your writing has broken English.

Let me give you an example:

Won’t you buy a bread that smells bad and looks rotten if you are in the middle of the dessert and haven eaten nothing for the past 5 days?

But how do you know a market is hungry?

  • The market has money. Do you want to waste your time and money creating a product that the market can’t buy?
  • The market is saturated. Do you want to waste your energy creating something that will not be able to compete with other leaders?
  • The market has a great and unchangeable passion about something or they have a very problematic issue. You will need to be able to solve their problems and provide solutions or tutorials to their passion.

Why A Niche Rather Than Generally?

To generate a stream of fast flowing cash, you’ve really got to make money 24/7 and that means you must need to sell things automatically. I know you can make a lot designing blogs or graphics but what if you are in hospital? The rescuer to this problem is selling info products but which niche is popular? Which niche is full of hungry customer and not saturated? This is exactly the question you need a niche.

Ever heard of the Pareto Principle? This principle states that 20% of work gives you 80% of the results. In other words, this principle tells you to work SMART but not HARD! If you are able to dig up the 20% that allows you to succeed with 80% of the results, with no competition, not much work and this will make you a successful person in no time!

For many events, roughly 80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes.

Words can affect everything in your life although they’re only a small part of the communication process. Words can always have a huge and big impact on those you’re attempting to persuade.

Using The Name In Online Marketing!

The most impactful word in the whole universe is our NAME! When we’re just a toddler, we hear our name over and over again called by our parents and relatives. You have linked it as getting attention and you very much like that! Most people have a first, middle and last name and guess what, we’re always identified by our first name. Let say you’re John Doe. Do you get the fastest reaction when people call you John or Doe? John right and that’s why for most people it’s the first name that carries the impact unless you’re from Mars!

Marketers always uses the first name like Mr Jankens, Ms Tanny or anything come off sounding like you’re a pitchman and the prospects doesn’t feel close to you. So why the hell should they buy your products?

On the contrary, researched done shows that if you use a person’s first name, at the very beginning or the end of a sentences, the percentage of successes to interest and persuade someone to buy your things dramatically increased. But this does not implies that you need to mention ones’ name over and over again as this might irritate them!

Examples are as shown:

  • “Joey, do you think this machine will increase your company productivity with a 50%?”
  • “This phone makes you look cool, don’t you think, Kery?”
  • “Steph, do you think we could go out for movies tonight?”

The uses of an individual’s name is a powerful attention getter and it also acts in a highly positive associative manner with whatever statement or request is linked with it.

Using The Power Word “BECAUSE”

One of another impactful power word is “because”. When we were young, “because” gave us a very authoritative weight. In the future, this special word still carry it’s authoritative weight.

The Magical “Don’t” Word!

Expert says we can’t visualize the word won’t in our tiny miny brain and. Logically speaking, we can’t visualize the word because it’s not a noun or even a verb. Therefore, this word can influence others with super or even magical results. Don’t believe it? Try it!

Secrets Revealed!

Everyone loves secrets including me, you and even your mum! When you share secrets to your to-be clients, you’ll definitely get trust and instant sales!

By telling your clients some “secrets”, this shows you’re confiding in your clients and when you confide something in people, you’ll tend to get reciprocal behavior. Once this level is achieved, you can just persuade that person to buy your services or products! :)

3 Underground Laws That You Can Apply To Skyrocket Your Sales As High As 30%!

By Rich Teen On June 19, 2009 16 Comments

Hello my current blog readers,

Are you interested in getting your sales up 10-20% monthly? Yes you’re,  but you might ask “How Do I Do So”? I am always interested in increasing sales, building rapport with friends and clients and also building network with important guys who you might need help in the future. Who knows that you might need him to get a graphic designed for you in an hour time when you product is going to launch? He can charge you a hefty price for that but he you’ve got great rapport, no fears my dear friend!

The #1 Law- Law Of Contrast

As you will have noticed if you’re a good observant, when two items are quite different from each other, everyone will see them as more different if they’re placed close together in time or space.

Marketers can be said to be always using the contrast principle to generate high volume of sales because it works effectively with no problem.

Here’s some examples:

  • Once you’ve purchased a $1,500 personal computer, isn’t it worth $300 for the super extended warranty? (Well, the sales rep may fail to tell you that insurance for these computers may be way below the offered price!)
  • A seminar by a famous speaker that’s about a few weeks long may be hang up with a price tag of $6000. Wouldn’t it be the opportunity of your life to be able to get the handouts and video of the seminar for $799?
  • A internet marketing product with text, audio, video launched by a world renown marketer cost $1,238. The sales page will just give you a choice to buy either one format for $300. You would receive the same amount of information at a very low price. This is a very noticeable and perfect example of the law of contrast!

The only way on earth to influence the other fellow is to talk about what he wants and show him how to get it

-Dale Carnegie

The #2 Law- Law Of Association

People tend to buy things, services or anything that are endorsed by famous people that normal people respect.

If you would like everyone to be frenzy about your product, you gotta find people that are respected in every corner of the globe and get them to endorse your product.( Hefty fee may apply!) Regardless how your product sucks, because of the endorsement, people will hundred percent grab your things off the shelf even if it’s the first time due to endorsement!

  • Sports cars are not sexy in any way. But a sexy model posing and promoting a sports cars can just persuade an onlookers to buy the sports cars even though those onlookers are not really interested.

Application:

Go get someone famous and popular in  your niche, contact them and persuade them to endorse your product. Either giving a fee or making out a deal, it’s your own way!

The #3 Law- Law Of Scarcity

When a person believes that something he might considering wanting it is limited in quantity, he will actually mentally believes that the value of what he might want is greater than if it were available in abundance.

Examples in daily life:

  • A young girl who becomes disinterested in his present lover may well gain interest back immediately when she finds out her boyfriend is paying more attention to another young lady.
  • People always believes that the sales at any departmental store will expire and end immediately the day stated and prices will never go so low again in their life!
  • Adverts on television normally uses and apply the law of scarcity like “While stock lasts”, “Limited to 50 Early Birds”, “5 Copies Left”, “Supplies are limited” and “Ending Today”.
  • Have you ever notice that when you’re opting in for a digital freebies or anything, you will definitely see a term like “30 Access Left”? Besides that, they might be using term like, “I am not going to buy this product and I’ll be sorry for myself when people are profiting like mad from this product”? These are all law of scarcity in work in online marketing!

Knowledge itself is power

-Francis Bacon

Application:

When copywriting, always remember to apply the law of scarcity because this often affect the prospects or clients’ sub-conscious mind without them knowing it!

What Really Drive Sales?

People don’t buy products, they buy states- Anthony Robbins

Opinion is ultimately determined by the feelings, not the intellect-Herbert Spencer

A person’s mind or state is a very important thing during sales. ( This applies both in online marketing and offline marketing) It’s also very very important to know your market or clients state of mind. When you are able to determine this almost correctly, you can generate almost a huge sales volume without any more hard work.

Let me show you a simple and noticeable example:

In these years, shoes are a fashion and most people either buy Nike, Adidas, Puma and DC. But why though you might ask? Why do people have to buy these branded and expensive shoes? Couldn’t they just buy some shoes got off the flea market for quarter the price of a branded Nike Air Force?

The main reason to purchase these branded exercise shoes is generally first felt when an individual watches the television in his couch and feeling bad about himself being a couch potato. Then, he sees Kaka( Brazil football player) being the World Football Player Of The Year and wearing a Nike football boots. The passive message sent immediately subconsciously to the individual is just easy as “Wear Nike and you can Just Do It!”

THE OUTCOME BASED THINKING!

This is called the process of Outcome Based Thinking and most world-class athletes use this process to achieve top performance in their competition. The best hoops shooter visualize a three point throw before just throwing outside the line and and the hitters in baseball see the bat hitting the ball for a base hit before going up to bat.

So similarly, the world’s greatest businessman and leaders uses outcome based thinking to close the deal before the even talk with the prospect. Edwin C. Barnes visualize working with Thomas Edison not working for Thomas Edison a thousand times and guess what, that came true!

So by implementing the OBT method, you can boost up your sales by 50% effortlessly. What you just need to do is let your market see what’s the outcome of them using your services and products and poof! Your sales rises magically!

My New Name Cards

By Rich Teen On June 18, 2009 No Comments

A few weeks ago, I was reading about a post on LiewCF.com about Liew’s name card that he got from OoPrint. I was reading that when suddenly an idea pop up on my mind, my father always bring me out to his seminars and meetings so I often met up with either business mans, sales mans, marketers and more. Due to this reason, I was thinking giving out my own business card or name card would let me connect and network with peoples. This is the reason for being on the internet, we should be interacting or it will be called the intranet-without any people interacting and working on our own.

I then went to ooprint, copied some of their designs as I won’t be using their services because I’m not from US. I designed and stick my logo in with PSD and showed my friends first, they all said it looks nice and I was quite satisfied with myself too! :D

I went surveying in the local name card printing shop and I found one which managed to print it in 24 hours for only $6.50 for 100 copies. Cheap right? That’s Malaysia!

By the way, here’s my namecard!
