Internet marketing is one of the hottest topics around the blogosphere now. More and more bloggers are using their blogs to earn money. Wikipedia defined internet marketing as web marketing, online marketing, Internet advertising, or eMarketing, is the marketing of products or services over the Internet.

To start an internet marketing business, first you must have a website, be it self-hosted or hosted domain. I’d recommend a self-hosted domain though, since you will have total ownership and rights on your site, whereas hosted domains like Blogger and Wordpress using the .blogspot.com and .wordpress.com limits your activity to their Terms of Service. Besides that, they can terminate your domain or remove your contents without your permission. For starters, you can get a free hosting on Blogger or Wordpress, and as you start to earn some money, you can then get a hosted domain.
